Natural ingredients and the nanotechnology approach at Jophielle

Jophielle's story began not with a product, but with a question from the clinic. In 2017, in a 25-square-metre laboratory at the Ege University Technopark, our team of biologists and chemists began a year of research with academic consultation from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Cosmetology.

Why a nanotechnology-based approach?

In cosmetic science, nanotechnology refers to working with very small carrier structures within a formula. For our first innovations, Eye Light (2018) and Jophielle Face (2019), we explored this formulation approach to create light textures that combine several caring ingredients in a single product.

Nature as a starting point

Our formulas bring together botanical ingredients such as hemp seed oil, rosehip oil, grape seed oil, aloe vera, green tea, hibiscus and lavender with well-known cosmetic actives such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and peptides. Each ingredient is chosen for its role in the formula and its suitability for daily care.

From research to our own production

To keep full control over quality, Jophielle set up its own production centre in 2020. Today our new Bornova facility manufactures our collection under ISO 22716 GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified management systems.

Science with transparency

We believe good science is honest science. We share the key ingredients of every product and present our formulas without exaggerated promises — because trust is the foundation of timeless beauty.
